The French ultra-premium second growth estate, Chateau Lascombes, is located in the Margaux region of Bordeaux, France, just a few hundred meters away from the famous Chateau Margaux. Along with another renowned Bordeaux estate, Chateau Mouton Rothschild, it is classified as a second growth estate, with exceptionally high wine quality.

"Deep garnet red, initially slightly weak upon opening, it offers flavors of tar and roasted earth over a core of fresh roasted blackcurrants, candied fruits, and cooked meats, with a hint of bay leaf and new bramble; the fruit is full and rich, filled with the essence of ripe black fruits and tilled earth, the tannins are solid, with strong granularity, and the finish is long."
