[Chateau Haut Boutisse 2019]
Château Haut Boutisse was established in the mid-19th century. The vineyard (planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot grapevines) is located on the right bank of the Garonne River. The property is managed by Nicolas Ballande and a six-person team of internationally trained experts. Over the past few years, significant investments have been made to build a new oak cellar and acquire the most advanced cellar technology. This wine is a powerful and elegant Grand Cru. The real insider scoop at this price!
In the glass, a deep cherry red color with fresh purple edges and an almost black core...The nose promises serious Saint-Émilion violets, forest floor, raspberries, blackcurrants, and juicy plums, accompanied by delicious vanilla, deeply roasted coffee, cigar box, licorice, and a hint of chocolate from long barrel aging...In the mouth, a truly silky smooth charm, with a touch of juicy red and dark berries. The finish is filled with luxurious spices and delicate tannins akin to a Cru Classé, aged in barrels for an extended period.
Grape varieties:
73% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, & 4% Cabernet Franc
