Château Haut-Bergey is an excellent estate in Pessac-Léognan. The 2018 vintage is a powerhouse wine, perfectly reflecting the gloriously warm and ripe year. It embraces a muscular, robust, and deeply concentrated modern profile while retaining its signature earthy terroir. It pours an opaque ruby-purple and explodes with intense aromatics of black cherry preserve, dark plum, roasted cocoa, cigar box, and rich toasted oak. Full-bodied and dense, the palate is structured around a massive core of velvety, ripe tannins and sweet dark fruit, leading to a lush, powerful finish.
