Chateau la Garricq is one of the wineries in the Moulis region of Bordeaux, France. It is listed among the Crus Bourgeois in the 2012 list released by the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois. The current vineyard area is 2.6 hectares, with 50% of the land used for planting Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, 30% for Merlot grapes, and 20% for Petit Verdot grapes. The average age of these grapevines is 25 years, with a planting density of 6,700 plants per hectare.
The 2016 La Garricq has a rich fruit aroma and is quite elegant.It exudes aromas of blackberry and strawberry, accompanied by hints of fresh raspberry, flowers, licorice, and sweet spices like cinnamon and vanilla.The taste is rich in fruit flavors, with a strong mineral taste, balanced and rich in fat, slightly mild, and slightly acidic.The tannins are delicate and well-structured.
