The Premier Cru Classé estate Château Guiraud, located in the Sauternes region of Bordeaux, is world-renowned for its sweet wines, not only in France but globally. In addition to sweet wines, its dry white wines are also quite exceptional.Chateau Guiraud has rich terroir conditions and uses organic methods to manage its vineyards, helping to expand biodiversity. In its 100-hectare vineyard, there are 635 different species of insects, while a typical vineyard has fewer than 200 species. Additionally, it plants 3.7 miles of hedgerows to help protect insects, using 100% natural environmental practices, and grows different varieties, including over 135 types of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. It can maintain the diversity of grape varieties.Chateau Guiraud is also one of the first wineries to obtain organic certification from the French Ecological Agriculture Development Agency.
