One of the most famous and important wineries in Côte-Rôtie, it was established in 1946. Among the many fine wines from GUIGAL, another highly acclaimed red wine from the E. Guigal estate is the Cote-Rotie La Mouline, made from grapes with an average vine age of 75 years.After the grapes are harvested, they are fermented in temperature-controlled, non-sharp steel tanks, and then aged in new oak barrels for 42 months.
The pitch-black 2013 Côte Rôtie La Landonne is undoubtedly one of the gems of the vintage, with more texture, depth, and richness than almost any other wine on the market. Burnt fruit, black, black fruit, espresso, crushed stone, and wood smoke all emanate from this full-bodied, concentrated Côte Rôtie, showcasing a masculine style while still possessing incredible purity and elegance.
