Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a highly regarded 5th Growth in Pauillac known for its classic style. The 2012 vintage, which favored Merlot, produced a wonderfully charming and approachable expression of the appellation. Now beautifully mature, it reveals an engaging bouquet of ripe cassis, violets, sweet cigar box, and signature graphite. Medium to full-bodied and exceptionally smooth on the palate, the tannins have resolved into a velvety texture, supporting a core of sweet, accessible dark fruit and vibrant acidity.
