[Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2012]
Robert Parker rating: 91/100 (2015)
Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste is located in the Pauillac region and was rated as a fifth growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. The "Puy" in its name means "hill" in French, and the estate is located at a high point in the hilly area, enjoying excellent topography and the favorable climate brought by the estuary. It is one of the oldest estates in Medoc. Its wine style features strong yet velvety tannins, considered a perfect example of traditional Pauillac red wine.
"Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2012 consistently exhibits a higher level, with classic blackcurrant jam and some bluer fruits and floral aromas; the medium-bodied wine, with mature tannins, beautiful fruit, and low acidity, gives it a cutting-edge appeal."It can be consumed now or cellared for another 12-15 years or more.

76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot
