[Chateau Giscours 2017]
Located in Margaux, Chateau Giscours has a long and rich history and was classified as a third growth in the 1855 classification.
In terms of wine quality, it is renowned for its consistency and is one of the few classified Bordeaux estates that still uses hand harvesting. It possesses exceptional finesse and elegance, with meticulousness and power integrated into the bottle, allowing drinkers to experience the sensation of top-tier wines from the Margaux region. The color and aroma of the wine are both extremely attractive. Robert Parker's ratings for it mostly hover around 90 points, but the price is very reasonable, making it a top choice for high cost-performance among classified growth châteaux.
"Chateau Giscours undoubtedly possesses one of the most exquisite aromas of the Margaux region, featuring delightful red cherries and fresh strawberries, along with a mineral essence; the body is medium, the tannins are mature, although the finish is a bit 'staggering and the oak feels a bit heavy at the end, but perhaps this can resolve itself during bottling.'"
Grape variety:
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
