[Chateau Gloria 2017]
James Suckling :91/100
Robert Parker:89/100
The winery was established by the late Latour manager Henri Martin in the 1950s. Therefore, it did not appear in the 1855 classification, but if there were an update, it would definitely be included. Together with its big brother St. Pierre, the quality here has seen a tremendous improvement over the past few years, making it one of the top performers in St. Julien today.
Chateau Gloria 2013 exhibits a deep ruby color with a purple edge.On the nose, the pure red fruit aromas are very pronounced, with hints of cedar and graphite. The taste is very spicy and peppery, with bramble red fruit and clean, lively acidity.Saint-Julien cedar tannins impart texture, structure, and freshness to the wine, resulting in a truly magnificent wine.
Grape variety:
61% Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by 26% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Petit Verdot
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
