Château Ferrière is an outstanding 3rd Growth in Margaux with a tiny, biodynamically farmed vineyard. The 2012 vintage, which favored Merlot, produced a wonderfully charming and approachable expression of the appellation. Now beautifully mature, it reveals an engaging bouquet of ripe cassis, violets, sweet cigar box, and subtle truffles. Medium to full-bodied and exceptionally smooth on the palate, the tannins have resolved into a velvety texture, supporting a core of sweet, accessible dark fruit and vibrant acidity.
