Château Ferrière is a highly respected 3rd Growth in Margaux, renowned for its very small production and strict biodynamic practices. The 2011 vintage marks a beautiful return to classic, cooler-vintage Bordeaux styling. Emphasizing finesse and precision over sheer weight, it is a highly energetic wine. It presents a refined, highly aromatic bouquet of fresh cassis, raspberries, violets, elegant cedarwood, and deep earthy minerality. Medium to full-bodied and incredibly focused on the palate, it dances with a vibrant line of acidity and fine, silky tannins that have softened gracefully over the past decade.
