Chateau Pedesclaux was classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Medoc classification.The history of the estate dates back to 1810, when Bordeaux wine merchant Urbain Pierre Pedesclaux purchased part of the vineyard plots from Chateau Grand Puy and established his own estate.The estate changed hands several times and was finally purchased by Francoise and Jacky Lorenzetti in 2009.
This wine has ethereal and fresh characteristics that can captivate the senses of smell and taste. The second label of Pedesclaux winery blooms like a flower as you approach it. Due to its high proportion of Merlot grapes, this wine is soft and gentle, with a deliciously smooth texture.
Grape varieties: 67% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot
