Fleur de Pédesclaux is the excellent second wine of the 5th Growth Château Pédesclaux in Pauillac. The 2014 vintage is a textbook classic Bordeaux. Benefiting from a spectacular Indian summer, this wine offers excellent tension, energy, and structural precision that favored Cabernet Sauvignon. It reveals a highly focused bouquet of pure blackberry, cassis, intense graphite, cedar, and fresh mint. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is taut and well-structured, with a bright line of acidity cutting through the firm, fine-grained tannins. An intellectual and rewarding Pauillac.
