[Chateau de Fonbel 2018]

Chateau de Fonbel is a winery under Ausone, and Ausone owner Alain Vauthier has taken over. The vineyard management practices have already adopted the Chateau Ausone system.But in terms of price, it is much more affordable, so experts in the wine industry jokingly refer to it as the "Chateau Ausone for the masses."

Deep purple-red wine color. Mature plum, blackcurrant, and cherry jam, blended with the rich aroma of cream and frosted cake, followed by a hint of subtle spices. Smooth texture, juicy berry flavors with a balanced sweetness and acidity, complemented by gentle coffee notes and slowly emerging smoky, mineral finishes. It is a very delicate and elegant Saint-Emilion wine.

Grape variety:

70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carmenere
