Chateau Figeac is a winery in the Saint-Émilion region of Bordeaux, classified as a 1er Grand Cru Classe B.It is the largest estate in Saint-Émilion, with 40 hectares (99 acres) of vineyards.Therefore, although Chateau Figeac is located on the right bank of Bordeaux, it has some similarities with the wines of Médoc and Graves.This wine is one of the most famous wines from Saint-Émilion, aged in 100% new oak barrels.
"Chateau La Tour Figeac 2013 presents a deep purple with a garnet hue, slightly shimmering at the edges, followed by exquisite aromas of mint, fruitcake, Asian spices, abundant sweet black and red fruits, and a smoky note in the background."Medium to full-bodied with a lovely freshness, it seems to have reached full maturity.
