The winery has been owned by the Rosso family since 1920 and is located 3 kilometers north of Serralunga d’Alba.The winery's motto is "Wine should be a copy of its terroir," which is the cultivation, vinification, and aging method adopted by Giovanni Rosso's son, Davide Rosso.

"Giovanni Rosso Etna Rosso 2019, the light color in the glass is exactly what you would expect from Mount Etna." Pleasant fresh strawberries and delicate floral and mineral notes. The body is moderate, the tannins are delicate, and the finish is refreshing. A bit short, in the end, it is more like this year's rosé.

Giovanni Rosso Etna Bianco 2021 is a defined white wine with light aromas of white fruits and flowers, notes of Mediterranean forest and mineral hints.

On the palate it is fresh, smooth and elegant. A light wine with vibrant acidity, a pleasant mid-palate and a dry, saline finish.
