The deep garnet-colored 2018 Desmirail wine rolls out of the glass, carrying the rich aromas of blackcurrant liqueur, plums, and roasted cherries, along with subtle hints of tobacco, fried herbs, and wood smoke.The body is medium to full-bodied, with a firm, chewy texture. The sufficient freshness and the bagged five-spice berries preserve the flavor, and it finishes with an earthy taste.
