Chateau d’Issan is located in the Margaux sub-region on the left bank of Bordeaux, near Chateau Giscours.In the 1855 Medoc classification, it was rated as a third growth estate.The estate was purchased by the Cruse family in 1945.Chateau d’Issan has a rich floral aroma, and the high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon gives it a deeper color. Its body is more robust than other Margaux wines, with a beautiful fruit aroma that embodies the typical and intense style of the Margaux sub-region.Chateau d’Issan is favored by many European royal families, especially the Austrian royal family in the 19th century, and is often chosen as the exclusive wine for royal banquets, weddings, and other occasions.

"Chateau d'Issan 2013 is indeed very good." Soft, medium-bodied, with no herbal notes or astringent tannins, it is a superficial yet charming wine, exuding delicate floral aromas, mingled with hints of raspberry, blackcurrant, licorice, and background oak.
