Domaine du Clos des Tourelles is located in the Gigondas appellation of the Rhône Valley, France, and is one of the many estates managed by the Perrin family. The vineyard is situated near the village of Gigondas, facing northwest. The cool microclimate allows for later harvesting, ensuring the grapes reach full maturity. The vineyard covers 10 hectares, with calcium-rich limestone and sandy soil. Grenache is the main grape variety planted, occupying 80% of the total area, along with Syrah, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre. The estate regularly checks the flavor and ripeness of the grapes. All grapes are handpicked to ensure meticulous care of each bunch. During vinification, local yeasts are used, and the wine is aged in large oak barrels for one and a half years.

The 2021 Domaine du Clos des Tourelles has a deep dark cherry color. Its complex aroma includes notes of "garrigue," blueberries, and Timut pepper, with subtle smoky hints. On the palate, it is rich and dense with silky tannins, offering flavors of black fruit, leather, and violets. The finish is well-balanced with good aging potential, thanks to careful vineyard management.
