Domaine du Clos des Tourelles is a prestigious single vineyard in Gigondas owned by the famed Perrin family (Château de Beaucastel). The 2018 is a warm, deeply concentrated vintage. It explodes with a highly savory, robust bouquet of dark cherry compote, roasted plum, wild garrigue, roasted meat, and black pepper. Full-bodied, lush, and unctuous on the palate, the tannins are exceptionally ripe and velvety, leading to a powerful, spicy finish. A thrilling, hedonistic Southern Rhône red.
