Located in Saint-Emilion, Chateau d’Aiguilhe 2012 is owned by the Comte von Neipperg family, who also own the renowned wineries Chateau La Mondotte, Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere, and Clos de l'Oratoire.The vineyard has an excellent natural drainage system and ample sunlight exposure to the south, with a layer of limestone and clay-sandy topsoil covering the poor limestone subsoil.

Chateau d'Aiguilhe has good aging potential, generally requiring 5-6 years of aging to reveal its delightful style.

This wine from the Neipperg family is one of the best wines from Castillon, displaying a deep ruby/purple color, wonderful spice, earthy notes, and flavors of red and black fruits. The body is medium, the tannins are light, and the palate is soft. Drink it within the next 5-7 years.
