[DRC Montrachet 2006]
Robert Parker rating: 96/100
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, or better known as DRC, is undoubtedly the most famous and collectible wine producer in Burgundy. The estate is located in the village of Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy and sells wines from eight different grand cru vineyards, which span the entire Côte d'Or. The most famous comes from the eponymous Romanée-Conti vineyard, which is on average the most expensive wine in the world.
"DRC Montrachet 2006 is relatively understated, with almost shy white flowers, grapefruit, mild exotic orchard fruits, and subtle spice notes, all trimmed with just the right amount of wood, leading to a wonderful texture, purity, intensity, and concentration—a rich flavor enveloping a solid spine of acidity, ultimately forming a beautifully lively, dry, linear, and mineral-driven finish."
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
