"The 2017 La Dame de Montrose lags behind the Grand Vin in the top châteaux, but it has since developed."Now in bottle, it has a nicely balanced bouquet of red cherries, lingonberry, and crushed violets.The taste is medium-rich, with crisp acidity, tightly woven, and linear. I suspect it is a conservative La Dame de Montrose; I suspect its aging time will be better than I initially imagined.

43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot
