La Dame de Chateau Montrose is the second wine of Chateau Montrose.The taste of Saint-Estephe is less dense than that of the 2017 Chateau Montrose, with its smooth tannin structure and fine, enticing grains.This is an easy-to-use wine that showcases the meticulous work done in selecting the grapes.

"The 2017 La Dame de Montrose lagged behind the Grand Vin in the top châteaux, but has since come on."Now in bottle, it has a nicely balanced bouquet of red cherry, cranberry, and crushed violet.The taste is medium-bodied, with crisp acidity, tightly woven, and linear. I suspect it is a conservative La Dame de Montrose; I suspect its aging time will be better than I initially imagined."
