[Dom Perignon Rose 2006]
Robert Parker rating: 95/100
Champagne Dom Perignon, produced by Moët & Chandon, is one of the most representative brands of French champagne.Ordinary champagne reaches its peak maturity after 5 years, but once it surpasses 10 years, it begins to decline. However, Dom Perignon champagne is an exception; its 10-year aging period is precisely when it reaches its maturity: delicate, elegant, with a hint of roasted chestnut flavor, a slightly tart and mildly sweet astringency, full of charm and captivating.
"Dom Perignon Rose 2006 exudes rich aromas of bitter orange, red berries, apple, and faint hints of dried flowers and vanilla." The palate is medium to full-bodied, deep and broad, with delicate mousse, mature acidity, and chalky phenolic structure, especially in the finish, proving that a full 20% of still red wine is included in the blend.
Grape varieties:
56% Pinot Noir and 44% Chardonnay
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
