Cloudy Bay Vineyards is one of the most renowned producers in the Marlborough wine region of New Zealand's South Island. It was established in 1985 and was one of the first producers in Marlborough. Today, its flagship Sauvignon Blanc is one of the country's most popular wines.The estate was founded in 1985 by David Hohnen, the founder of Cape Mentelle Vineyards in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. Hohnen sold Cloudy Bay to Veuve Clicquot in 1990.In 2003, Veuve Clicquot was acquired by the multinational luxury goods group LVMH.
Cloudy Bay Te Wahi Pinot Noir 2018 exudes delicate floral and herbal aromas, along with subtle notes of tea and rose.The palate is rich and expansive, exuding mouthwatering cherry fruit flavors, finishing with a crisp acidity, smooth tannins, and a hint of mocha coffee.
