[Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2022]
Cloudy Bay is a bay located on the eastern side of the Loire River valley, named by British explorer James Cook when he discovered it in 1770, and it is one of the first five wineries established in the Marlborough region. The founder, David Hohnen, was originally a vineyard owner in Australia. Later, he discovered that New Zealand had better soil and climate conditions for growing grapes, so he established Cloudy Bay here, and it has been nearly 30 years since then.Cloudy Bay is one of the most famous Sauvignon Blanc wines in New Zealand and even the world today. It is a top-tier brand, with its brilliance even surpassing that of Sauvignon Blanc wines from Bordeaux and other renowned regions. Cloudy Bay's Sauvignon Blanc has a refreshing taste with notes of fresh herbs, ripe guava, and passion fruit. The sweet and sour flavors of lemongrass and stone fruits linger continuously, with a long-lasting finish.
