Cheval des Andes was established in 1999 in the northern Mendoza province of Lujan de Cuyo, through the collaboration of the Argentine Terrazas de los Andes and the French Château Cheval Blanc from Saint-Emilion.After the collaboration and blending by the winemakers of Cheval Blanc and Terrazas de los Andes, the winery carries the exquisite winemaking techniques of the first-growth estate Cheval Blanc.
This red wine is blended from two grape varieties, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, with the proportions adjusted according to the quality of the grape harvest each year. In the fresh and elegant natural environment, it nurtures the long-lasting and exquisite Andes wine, renowned as the "Grand Cru of the Andes."
