Connétable de Talbot is the esteemed second wine of the 4th Growth Château Talbot in Saint-Julien. The 2022 vintage is a phenomenal, barrier-breaking year. Despite extreme heat and drought, the vines adapted, producing a wine of unprecedented concentration that astonishingly retains incredible freshness. It boasts an opaque, inky color and massive aromatics of crushed blackcurrants, ripe plum, dark chocolate, and elegant cedar. Medium to full-bodied, it is highly structured with polished, velvety tannins and a vibrant line of acidity. A modern blockbuster with serious potential.
