This is a wine from Chateau Prieure-Lichine in the Cantenac area of the renowned Margaux village on the left bank of Bordeaux. It is one of the rare Fourth Growth estates classified in 1855 and is the second wine of Chateau Prieure-Lichine. Its vineyard was part of a monastery's property before the French Revolution.

At that time, the red wine produced by Chateau Prieure-Lichine was called La Prieure, which means "the monastery" in French.This wine exudes aromas of vanilla, nougat, and cherry, with hints of wood and leather, a full-bodied palate, and a long finish.

Grape varieties:

60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
