This is a wine from the Bordeaux Left Bank's prestigious Margaux village, specifically from the Cantenac area. Chateau Prieure-Lichine is one of the rare Fourth Growth estates from the 1855 classification, and it is the second wine of Prieure-Lichine. Its vineyards were part of a monastery's property before the French Revolution.

"Confidences de Prieure Lichine 2017 carries the aromas of spring flowers, black cherry jam, blackcurrant, graphite, and smokiness." On the palate, we feel that this wine is full of fruit flavors, round, textured, and of extremely high purity.
