This is a wine from the renowned Bordeaux Left Bank village of Margaux, specifically from the Cantenac area. Chateau Prieure-Lichine is one of the rare Fourth Growth estates from the 1855 classification and is the second wine of Prieure-Lichine. Its vineyards were part of a monastery's property before the French Revolution.
"Confidences de Prieure Lichine 2017 has aromas of spring flowers, black cherry jam, blackcurrant, graphite, and smokiness." On the palate, we experience this wine as full of fruit flavors, round, textured, and with extremely high purity.
