The vintage favored Merlot, and Haut-Brion capitalized on its superb parcels to craft a second wine of immense charm and immediate appeal. It pours a deep ruby and offers an intoxicating bouquet of blackberry jam, roasted plum, warm bricks, roasted herbs, and subtle smoke.
