[Chateau Cos d'Estournel 1982]
Robert Parker rating: 96/100
The super second growth estate Cos d'Estournel is located between Pauillac and Saint-Estephe, neighboring Chateau Lafite. The nature-respecting Chateau Cos d'Estournel meticulously selects the harvested grapes, then transports them using natural gravity methods, and strictly monitors the fermentation temperature. All the wines at the winery are aged in new barrels to enhance the rich flavors and aromas of the wood. "This 1982 wine still exhibits a beautiful deep ruby/purple hue, along with a stunning array of aromas, including blue and black fruits, fertile earth, fresh flowers, licorice, and spice box." The wine has a medium to full body, sweet tannins, a medium to full palate, and a silky finish. It seems to be fully mature, but it can easily be stored in a cool cellar for another 10 years or more." Grape varieties: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon & 40% Merlot
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
