Carruades de Lafite is the second wine of Chateau Lafite Rothschild, a red wine from Pauillac, Bordeaux, France. Lafite is one of the five first-growth estates from the 1855 classification, owned by the renowned Rothschild family.The name Chateau Lafite Rothschild is well-known to everyone. Whenever people mention top-tier red wine, many immediately think of Chateau Lafite.

The color of the 2020 Petit Lafite is deep purple-black, just like its big brother. Initially, it has a slightly young and shy character, but it quickly reveals flavors of Morello cherries, raspberry leaves, roasted blackberries, and a spice box, along with hints of pencil lead, lavender, and Provençal herbs. The medium-bodied palate is filled with juicy black fruit flavors, velvety tannins, and a lot of freshness, creating a framework with a long and uplifting finish.

Grape varieties: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot.
