Carruades de Lafite is the second wine of Chateau Lafite Rothschild, a renowned red wine from the Pauillac region of Bordeaux, France. Lafite is one of the five First Growths in the 1855 classification and is owned by the famous Rothschild family. The name Chateau Lafite Rothschild is synonymous with top-tier red wine, often the first that comes to mind when discussing the best.

The 2020 Carruades de Lafite showcases a deep purple-black color. Initially, it exhibits a youthful shyness, but quickly reveals aromas of Morello cherries, raspberry leaves, roasted blackberries, and spice box, complemented by notes of pencil lead, lavender, and Provençal herbs.

On the palate, it has a medium body filled with juicy black fruit flavors, framed by velvety tannins and a refreshing vibrancy. The finish is long and elevated.
