Carruades de Lafite is the second wine of Chateau Lafite Rothschild, a red wine from Pauillac, Bordeaux, France.Lafite is one of the five first-growth estates from the 1855 classification, owned by the renowned Rothschild family.The name Chateau Lafite Rothschild is well-known to everyone. Whenever people mention top-tier red wine, many immediately think of Chateau Lafite.

It presents a deep pomegranate red color, with an expressive bouquet of roasted plums, Morello cherries, and blackcurrants, accompanied by notes of stewed tea, bay leaves, and tilled earth, along with a hint of bark. The body is medium, with a mid-palate centered on red and black fruits, a solid structure, ample tannins, refreshing and pleasant, with a long finish that carries a mineral taste.

Grape varieties: 49% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot
