[Giovanni Rosso Barolo Cerretta 2018]

Giovanni Rosso is an Italian wine producer who makes Barolo wine from the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba. Since the 1890s, the Rosso family has been planting vineyards in some of the most historically significant locations in Serralunga, including La Serra, Broglio, Damaino, Vigna Rionda, Cerretta, and Sorano. The estate began bottling wine under the "Giovanni Rosso" label in the 1990s, and today, it is managed by Giovanni's son, Davide.

Perfume: Impeccable on the nose, elegant and clean; artisanal jams, wild vegetables, chocolate. Palate: Strong but with soft tannins; a feeling of embrace. Good fruit aroma, long-lasting finish. Pairing: Red meat cooked for a long time, best paired with truffle wild boar.
