The 2018 vintage from Bouchard Père & Fils is a powerful representation of a remarkably warm, ripe year. It pours a deep ruby and offers an intense, concentrated bouquet of dark cherries, black plum, deep earth, warm spice, and toasted oak. Full-bodied and muscular, the palate is built upon a solid framework of firm, slightly chewy tannins, promising excellent longevity. A decidedly masculine Burgundy.
