Santenay, located in the Côte-d'Or department in the central-eastern part of France, has had a considerable reputation for its red wine since the early 19th century.Pinot Noir is the most widely planted grape variety in the area, occupying more than three-quarters of the vineyards.The wines produced in this region, made from Pinot Noir, usually exude the aromas of rose petals, peonies, violets, and a hint of licorice, with a rich and deep taste.

Santenay 2019 presents a deep ruby red color, clear and transparent, with aromas of spice, leather, and red fruits.The taste is balanced and elegant, with a smooth, slightly acidic flavor of cinnamon and coffee, light tannins, and a soft finish; it pairs well with stews, meats, and cheese.
