Bouchard Pere & Fils was founded in 1731 and is one of the most famous wine merchants in Burgundy, owning numerous Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards and plots in the region.The Nuits Saint Georges appellation spans nearly 6 kilometers, with the vineyard slopes to the south of the town being relatively narrow and steep; among them, Premier Cru Les Saint Georges best represents the local style, with a firm body and notes of earth, rust, and wildness.

Nuits Saint Georges 2018 has aromas of dark fruits (such as blueberries and blackberries), which become even more abundant amidst the rich raspberry notes; the scent of tea leaves, while permeated with flavors of graphite, rose, and black mushrooms; the tannin structure is well-balanced, with a round mouthfeel, finishing with complexity and persistence.
