[Blason D'Issan 2017]
【Blason D'Issan 2017】 James Suckling Rating: 93/100 (2020)
Chateau d’Issan is located in the Margaux sub-region on the left bank of Bordeaux, near Chateau Giscours. In the 1855 Medoc classification, it was rated as a third growth estate. The estate was purchased by the Cruse family in 1945.The red wine produced by Chateau d’issan has a rich floral aroma, and the Cabernet Sauvignon gives it a deeper color. The body is more robust compared to other Margaux wines, with a beautiful fruit aroma that embodies the typical and intense style of the Margaux sub-region.Blason D'Issan, as the second wine of Chateau d’issan, also performs excellently.
A lot of plum and peach flavors, but it still remains fresh and vibrant.Medium to full-bodied, with mature and round tannins, and a salty finish.Made from a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. It's already very delicious, but please be patient and wait two to three years. Try it after 2021.
