Blason d'Issan is the esteemed second wine of the Third Growth Château d'Issan, celebrated for its classic Margaux elegance. The 2013 vintage, a lighter and cooler year, produced a wine that is highly approachable and meant for early enjoyment. Foregoing heavy extraction, the winemaking focused on purity and finesse. It offers a charming, fragrant nose of red plum, cherry, and delicate floral notes. Medium-bodied and very supple on the palate, the tannins are soft and completely resolved. A delightfully easy-drinking Bordeaux.
