[BriO de Cantenac Brown 2016 3 Bottle Set]
Château Cantenac Brown is located in the Margaux appellation on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, adjacent to the First Growth Château Margaux. Originally just a small vineyard, it was acquired by the Boyd family in 1754, who built the château and named it Château Cantenac. Today, the estate is in excellent condition, with the current owners’ ambition to elevate Château Cantenac Brown to the very pinnacle of Bordeaux wines.
Brio de Cantenac Brown is the second wine of Château Cantenac Brown, launched in 2001. Both its contemporary label design and meticulous winemaking process reflect the estate’s successful modernisation.
The grapes for this wine are sourced from carefully pre-selected vineyard plots, enabling precise, tailored management. Blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot—with Merlot typically playing a prominent role—the wine is richly fruity in its youth and, with time, evolves to reveal more complex and captivating layers, striking a beautiful balance of elegance and power.
