Chateau de Beaucastel is located in the Cote du Rhone region of France.The winery was established by the Beaucastel family in the 16th century. Chateau de Beaucastel covers an area of 130 hectares, with 100 hectares planted with grapevines, and the remaining 30 hectares used for crop rotation with grapevines.The vineyard of Chateau de Beaucastel has a rare terroir, with rounded pebbles, clay, and gravel covering the underlying limestone, resulting in excellent drainage.

Very intense black fruit aromas, along with the scent of licorice, a hint of spices, and the taste of smoked bacon.Very rich and meaty, with an incredible tannin structure that makes it both very big and elegant.The finish is extremely long, with a rich mineral freshness.
