Chateau de Beaucastel covers an area of 130 hectares, with 100 hectares planted with grapevines, and the remaining 30 hectares used for crop rotation with grapevines. The vineyard of Chateau de Beaucastel has a rare terroir, with round pebbles, clay, and gravel covering the limestone below, resulting in excellent drainage.
Mature blackberries, cherry liqueur, and faint notes of garrigue, smoked meat, and floral minerality. The palate, with flavors of blackcurrant and cherry pie, exhibits excellent clarity, a chewy texture, and a hint of spice cake, evolving with the wine.
Vibrant and impressively long, the finish repeats the floral and dark fruit aromas, with chewy tannins adding firmness to the close.
