[Chateau Brane-Cantenac 2012]
Robert Parker rating: 91/100
Chateau Brane-Cantenac's current owner and winemaker, Henri Lurton, continuously improves its vineyards and winery, tirelessly enhancing the estate's output. This estate, located in the Margaux region, is renowned for its consistent quality, and even in excellent vintages, it can still showcase its unique terroir and winemaking techniques!
"The 2012 vintage is an opaque ruby/purple color, with sweet and silky tannins that are truly wonderful. It is certainly more difficult to achieve this level in Médoc in 2012 than in Graves or Pomerol and Saint-Émilion on the right bank. The body is rich and smooth, with a medium to full body, and the blackcurrant and black cherry aromas are brilliant. This opaque wine is pure and impressive."
Grape varieties:
68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot
Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
