The 2020 vintage experienced significant warmth and drought, resulting in tiny, incredibly thick-skinned berries. This translates into a wine with a profound core of dark fruit—blackberries and cassis—laced with licorice, dark earth, and savory spices. The tannins are massive and currently quite grippy, indicating extraordinary cellaring potential. A magnificent sleeping giant.
