Almaviva is a renowned wine brand located in the Maipo Valley of Chile, one of the most prestigious wines in Chile.In the tradition of top Bordeaux estates, Almaviva also produces a second wine called EPU (meaning "Two" in Mapudungun).Almaviva wines are aged in French oak barrels for approximately 18 to 20 months.In recent years, there is usually about 70% to 80% new wood.

"This wine presents a deep ruby color. The aroma is pure and expressive, blending fruity notes (blackberry, blackcurrant, wild strawberry) with floral notes (violet), and carries hints of ink, vanilla, and dark chocolate. When aerated, smooth minerality emerges. The elegant and generous palate exudes an enticing balance, vitality, and structure. The full-bodied, delicate tannins extend into a long and smooth finish."

68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Carménère, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot
